This image appealed to my love of repeating pattern and industrial lines.The greenhouse roof structure is reflected in the glass and supported a long line filled with identical hanging baskets - all the same colour, regularly spaced, suspended on the same hangers and all empty. It was a beautiful warm, sunny day in April and this reminded me of the time at the very beginning of Spring where the environment appears lifeless yet it is just ready and waiting for the new plants to grow. The following year (in May) these baskets were full of plants and this completely changed the linear qualities and feel of the same composition.
